August at Beaches Community Centre

Wow! It's August already!

-This summer Edgewater Recreation Commission is bringing programs to our Centre. The children are doing crafts, playing T-ball and baseball, learning hip hop dance. The program is full for this summer! Fall programming will be announced soon.

- East Beaches PICKLEBALL is operating out of BCC. Adults 18 years and older are welcome. Details of play can be found at https://www.beachescc.ca/pickle-ball.

- Mondays at Beaches Community Centre we are hosting BINGO. Doors and canteen open at 6:00 PM and games start at 700 PM.

-Thursdays join Yoga with Rhonda, 10am. Details at https://www.beachescc.ca/yoga

- August 6th BCC is hosting the Sun Country Artisan sale INDOORS from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The Country Market will be outside as usual from 10AM to 1PM and breakfast will be on 9-NOON.

- The Beaches 6th Annual Golf Tournament is on Friday September 16 at Grand Pines Golf Course. Registration now on- line at www.beachescc.ca under programming and events. More details will be provided as we get closer to the event.

- The annual Rummage Sale / Flea Market is being held on September 23, 24 and 25. Items can be dropped off and placed in the cages beside the Skating Rink storage. Please consider the person who must retrieve these items so we ask that the items be in suitable containers and easily lifted, free of mouse drop- pings and mold for public safety reasons. For large amounts, heavy items or questionable items please call/text Lynn Anderson 204.754.7557

All profits from vendor fees, table rentals, canteen sales, festi-val ticket purchases go directly into the operating of the Beaches Community Centre. Country Market raffles continue to be in- vested in outdoor child recreation activities.

Thanking all our volunteers and other community members for making the summer of 2022 a success – especially after two years of less activities. It’s great to see everyone enjoying all events we host at Beaches Community Centre.
