Do you like working with food and people? Canteen volunteers needed

If you are in the East Beaches/Victoria Beach area and enjoy working with food, serving folks or can help out in the kitchen, we could use your help. Maybe you want to try out food handling and see if it's for you? Do you like the idea of getting out for a couple hours a week and giving back to your community?

We are looking for volunteers to operate the canteen at Beaches Community Centre during Monday night Bingo

6pm for a couple of hours

One person would cook fryer food (automatic fryer), and possibly burgers on grill.

Second person would take orders, serve drinks, handle cash, etc.

Clean up includes using dishwasher. Training provided.

One person should have food handling certificate.

We will pay for the online Food Handling certificate course.
