Important Notice: Vote on Expansion of the Beaches Interim Facility

Members of the Beaches Community Centre are invited to attend a special meeting to discuss and vote on the exciting proposed expansion of the Beaches Interim Fitness Facility. Your input is vital in shaping the future of this valuable community resource.

The majority of the board is in support of entering into a new lease agreement with the East Beaches Social Scene to expand the Interim Fitness Facility. The Interim facility has been a success - attracting over 100 members to date.  We encourage members to review the presentation and the Memorandum of Understanding found by clicking the link below, that outlines the facts, projections and the terms of the arrangement for this important community initiative.

What's on the Agenda?

• Presentation of the expansion plans and their potential benefits to the community.

• Costs and Benefits, eg: there is a $35,000 Grant for more fitness equiptment, that will expire if not used by the end of Mar 2025.

• Open discussion period for members to ask questions.

• Formal vote on whether to proceed with the expansion project.
